This once in a lifetime celebration is right around the corner—and you’re invited!
Join us on the evening of October 17, 2026, for the “Impossible Dream” gala celebrating the centennial of the historic Julia Ideson Building of the Houston Public Library.
The evening will feature exquisite Spanish cuisine from Michelin star winning chef Luis Roger; rare displays from the Library’s collections; Spanish music and dancing, and so much else!
The evening will also feature the honoring of the 12 “Don Quixotes” of Houston—those who have made substantial contributions to our community through literature, the arts, diplomacy, business, media, academia, and philanthropy. You can view the list of “Don Quixote” honorees by CLICKING HERE.
