The Friends of the Houston Public Library assist the library through offering their time and talents to advance the work of the public library. As a principal volunteer corps for the Houston Public Library, the Friends provide an invaluable service by supporting library staff, assisting with events and programs, and helping the library foundation with book sales and special projects.
